We were an add-on job for A-1 on April 4, 2022 and were assured that we would have a professional job and any follow-up problems or issues would be handled. Unfortunately, that has not been the case as I have contacted them with phone calls, emails and texts and then been given excuses of why the calls were not returned and then excuses why they couldn't come to look at the issues and then promises that they would come and then did not show. The issues continue of pooling water, circular marks with asphalt missing, two tire marks from our truck wheels after the driveway had been installed for months, and dirt marks that will not wash off the asphalt surface.

NO! NEVER AGAIN! Stay far away and never hire.
Owen and Michael McDonald will sweet talk you to do the work then use any excuse to avoid correcting the poor work their contractors end up doing.
Hired them in Nov 2022, with written contract, to completely repave and also install a PVC pipe under the end of the driveway (have a narrow gulley running down the street and I wanted rain water to run under the end of driveway). By the end of the job they had instead installed a black plastic drain pipe under the end of the driveway (not PVC) and Owen assured me it would hold up.
Less than 3 days later the asphalt began to peel away over the pipe, exposing it in multiple places. Owen claimed it was too late in the year to repair but I would be first on the list in Spring.
It is now July 2023 and despite multiple phone calls and texts to both Owen and Michael, and promises of repair, the driveway is even worse and they won't commit to a repair date.
