On 11/11/19, technician Jesus T. arrived promptly at 8:25 AM to replace my cable box. I had 3 questions I needed answered prior to the replacement and he did so very well. Prior to replacement, Jesus checked all wiring, exterior cable box, etc. New cable box was installed and we waited for verification that all was functioning. It was not. Jesus spent an hour and a half working with my television and dispatch trying to get total reception and full function of my TV. He verified over and over that nothing was wrong with either my TV nor the replaced cable box. Dispatch finally notified him that there was a power outage with regard to television service as my phone and computer worked. Jesus had to leave to service other calls, but left his business card and cell number making sure that I could contact him if necessary. He would be in my area all day. I called around 2 PM to say the problem still existed. He indicated dispatch said all problems should be resolved by 3 PM and they were. He called shortly after 3 PM to check with me. I could not have asked for a better technician. I am wondering if rather than a "power outage" causing the extended delay of complete service, it might be that when a cable box is replaced, it takes HOURS for all channels and capabilities to power up. If this is the case, just tell your customers to expect this. Some people may fault the technician. That would be a total disservice to an outstanding technician like Jesus T.
