    We hired an architect that just didn't understand what we wanted. By sheer luck we ended up with Anthony and Alura and fired our old architect. They gave us our dream house. They were creative and talented way beyond my expectations.
    I recommend them without reservation. My home in Cyprus Cove is NOT for sale, but if you would like to see it, call Anthony and Alura.

    Complete tear down and remodel and multiple projects since

    My business partner and I have owned and Engineering/Contracting Company that services the western United States for the last 30 years. I met Anthony and Alura during their college days when they asked my company for help on a college project. I knew early on I was dealing with a special couple that would accomplish GREAT things in their lives. 20 years ago my wife and I did a tear down and rebuild of our home in Laguna Beach. We choose A2 Design freshly out of college because we were convinced of their ability even then. The home came out beautiful and working with Anthony and Alura was a delight. Since that time 20 years ago I have watched them grow into seasoned professionals with a unique blend of architectural and hands on construction/building skills. I have recommended A2 Design to many friends and neighbors and "ALL" have been beyond satisfied with their professionalism and skill level.
    A2 design has the ability to perform beautiful Architectural designs as well as manage serious Structural projects. This combination is unique and beneficial to the success of any completed project.

    New 4 bed house and guest house from a one bed cottage.

    These guys were outstanding; we built a large house and guest house in Laguna Beach. It was a total success despite not hiring a general contractor. We were on time and on budget and got a beautiful property; these guys were the single biggest reason for that outcome. They are a great combination; they truly care, listen and advise, Anthony is also a general contractor which was a nice resource to fall back on when needed. At the time we got eight bids, they were one of the least expensive, but in hindsight, I would have gone with them even if they were the most costly. Highly recommended.
