Stay away from A2 Contractors Paterson NJ. I paid thousands to have a slanted patio replaced. When it rained, water would collect by the foundation of my house. After the first hard rain I noticed that I had the same issue with water water collecting in the same area. I have been in touch with them to correct the problem for months. Im getting a run around. Today I called a lawyer.

Beware of A2 Reliable Construction LLC — this company was one of the most unprofessional and irresponsible contractors I’ve ever dealt with. I paid them $1,500 upfront for deck work, wallpaper removal, and painting, and they showed up for barely a day and a half before disappearing entirely. They left my deck unfinished with only a partial coat, destroyed wallpaper by ripping off just the top layer, and then suggested the ridiculous and unacceptable idea of painting over glue residue as a “solution.” After that, they stopped responding to calls and texts and refused to come back unless I agreed to give them more unrelated work — essentially holding my project hostage. My home was left in chaos, and I had to hire another contractor to clean up their mess and finish the job they abandoned. I have documented everything and have already taken steps with Consumer Affairs and Small Claims Court. This company is unreliable, deceptive, and completely lacking in professionalism — hiring them was a costly mistake I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
