My husband and I built our basement. We’re definitely older people with health issues trying to get this accomplished. After several years of work, we were at our wits end. We had purchased some flooring and had no idea how to install it. And we knew that it would take us SO long and cause so much frustration! We ran into Paul at Home Depot. What a helpful person he was. We went home and talked about it and decided we’d try to gather the money for his company to install the flooring for us.
Paul came over with a crew to install the inexpensive flooring we had purchased. Even with his professional team the flooring was chipping and breaking. They discussed it with us and we agreed that the flooring was trash and we needed different flooring. They hauled 94 boxes of flooring back to where we purchased it and helped us get a return. Paul helped us pick out a different flooring and then hauled all the flooring back in our house. (We’d have died at this point!) they finished the basement flooring in 3 days (over 1400 sq ft) and that included the crappy floor install (few rows), hauling out and returning the crappy flooring, finding additional flooring, hauling it all in, and laying the flooring.
Paul is the kindest, most helpful person in this industry I’ve ever met, and I worked with many!!! He was honest, and did everything he could to ensure that the project was successful, completed correctly, staying within our budget, and that we were happy with the work. Paul and his team were very professional and so pleasant.
Paul even noticed something outside our home that was happening that we were unaware of and that we know could cause some very serious issues. He just pointed it out to us. He did not even ask if he wanted us to have him look at it. There was no pressure from him. (After they were done with the flooring I mentioned that I’d like a bid from him for the problem area and he agreed to provide one).
Our flooring project went smoothly and we are so very happy with not only the results of the installation and how it looks (fantastic), but completely pleased with Paul and his team as well. We would absolutely recommend Paul and A20 Home Renovation to anyone who needs anything done. What a great team! You won’t be disappointed.
