I would never recommend this business. They claim to be Better Business Bureau Accredited, but they are not. Their BBB rating is an F. They replaced our roof. After they were finished, we had 2 leaks - one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom. It took multiple calls and several weeks to the owner to get his workers out here to fix it. Then, it continued to leak. Again, it took several calls and weeks before they came back out to fix it. They "fixed" the flashing around a vent at least two times and around our chimney twice. The last time I tried to get them to come fix the drywall damage as they promised, I couldn't get in touch with anyone. After several months, I gave up.

One of the worst roofing contractors around. They claim to be members of the BBB and several other associations in their description. Seaboard Contractors is not listed at all on BBB at this time, and the other name they go by, AAA Specialty Contractors, is not a member of BBB, and has received an "F" rating. They have had 10 complaints for product and warranty issues in the past couple years. I got burnt by this outfit, please do your homework on this outfit before using them, and I'd advise against it. I'm out over $10,000 on the deposit I gave them that they would not refund, and extra money I had to pay another contractor to tear botched areas back off and re-do properly. Their installation was shoddy both cosmetically (half of the metal shingles were dented, scratched, or otherwise damaged during installation), as well as not watertight. I had the metal company's rep, as well as a roofing expert (construction engineer) evaluate the installation, and they recommended it be completely redone. The one metal rep said he worked for his company for 40 years, and had never seen an installation done this poorly. I brought up concerns to the owner several times, and never got satisfactory results. He seemed to have no concern whether the customer was satisfied, and made no attempt to fix any issue brought up. When I told him the work was so bad that he had to stop and I'd have to find another contractor to finish it, he showed up unannounced in my driveway and accosted me, demanding more money for the shoddy, incomplete work. I said no way, and he became very angry, unprofessional, used foul language, and threatened to take legal action. His customer service is terrible, quality of workmanship of his crew substandard and shoddy, and business ethics very questionable. I'd give them 0 out of 5 stars if I could. Here is a list of the worst issues with their work: cosmetically damaged many of the singles, inexperienced low paid laborers, placed metal shingles over existing asphalt shingles (acceptable only if wood furring strips used to leave airspace. Placing metal roofing against asphalt shingles will cause super heating and finish will bake off, and void warranty), manufacturer's installation instructions not followed, trims not correct (not from manufacturer), not watertight (sidewalls like against vinyl siding not flashed behind vinyl, valleys not watertight), caulk used in several areas to fill large cracks where they did not flash properly, edges of roof (called rake trim) overhung edge of house by several inches since they did not remove old shingles or shave off edge, several items in contract completely ignored. It was an expensive lesson to learn.
