Thunderbolt Dave Mitwede teamed up with Dave Rita to sell me their custom energy home. Dave Rita was more my contact during build. Several things were noted for the end of year follow up by a popular local home inspector but Dave Rita is not reachable to follow through. They charged extra to raise my home for grey water plumbing then spread dirt out at my expense so home was not raised, then charged more to create an annoying riser in bathroom to make grey water.
They of course made lighting switches disfunctional.
They sold me a higher priced metal roof so I could do rain water catching. But only after build did I find they made half on back porch non metal- problems were discovered in home inspection and they refuse to repair.
Much of the paint job touch ups were sloppy and they refuse to fix.
I had cabinets that were supposed to be touched up after installation they refuse to do or adjusting how difficult they are to open and close.
For over a year the night cracking in roof is annoying.
They chose the loudest hot water heater.
They convinced me to pay more for a sliding glass door that is difficult to work. They did replace the sliding pane but it didn’t fix the problem the workers showed me the still pane was crooked and the inspector showed me it is only 1/2 on the slab but builder won’t make it right.
Builder was difficult to work with as it took a lot to get him to provide his workers an onsight toilet as he preferred to save money and have workers pooping in the was on my land. I discovered per the county I the owner would be fined for that.
He left lots of nails, trash and broken glass on construction site. I even volunteered to pick up if he let me use his metal detector but he refused.
There is much other things not followed through on. I am looking into where to report.
