    Frame house
    $600,000

Do not hire Aaron Yoder on School Road in Sykesville to build you anything. He framed my new house and when it was all said and done we have spent around 20K having to hire other contractors to fix all his mistakes. He started out excellent and reliable but as the job continued his work deteriorated. I paid him every cent I owed him and my house still needed fixed because of his shoddy work!

STAY FAR AWAY FROM AARON YODER CONSTRUCTION IN PUNXSUTAWNEY, PA!!!

I hired Aaron Yoder Construction to put a metal roof on my home and I have had nothing but water problems ever since!

I called Mr. Yoder back on several occasions after the installation of my new roof to please come and put the roof boot around my furnace pipe, and vent pipes as he promised to do and explained that my roof is leaking terribly.

After several weeks and several calls, Aaron Yoder finally returned to my home when I was not home and decided to simply place some"Bandaid Caulk" as I like to call it, on to the roof where it was, and still remains to leak!

After this caulking was allegedly applied to my roof, and because he failed to do what he promised to do, I have major water damage to my ceiling and floor because of his shabby work. Water is literally pouring into my house every time that it rains to the point where I have to place a bucket on the top of my oil furnace with hopes of catching as much water as possible.

I called and left a message again for Aaron Yoder after his failed caulking job, and explained that my roof was still leaking and I did not hear anything back for 2 months.

I finally called once again and did not get an answer. I once again left another telephone message for him explaining my displeasure with his work on his cellphone and he called me back in anger telling me in a very nasty and unprofessional tone "DO NOT ever leave him any more messages!" (This must be due to his embarrassment and the fact that his driver heard my message).

I explained that I had hired him to do a job for me and that he failed to successfully complete the job properly and, failed to come back to finish as he promised to do.

His reply was "I caulked the damn thing several times, I dont know what the hell you want me to do... I dont know what the hell else to do!" (Ummm..... somehow this is my fault and I should tell you how to do your job that you are charging people to do??)

I never heard from Arron Yoder again after that conversation.
If you are looking for true Amish craftsmanship, I caution anyone to keep looking because that is not what you will get with Aaron Yoder Construction in Punxsutawney, PA.

Aaron Yoder does not stand behind his work, he does not do what he promises to do, he does poor work, and is extremely unprofessional. You have been warned.

I must have been good enough when I paid him and, for picking him up and taking him back to his home which is quite the distance from my home for free! I even gave him a lawn tractor for free that I had and he was interested in! Disgraceful!
