  Front steps, landing replacement and sidewalk repair

  Would never recommend this company. They replaced my front steps, landing, and walkway. They never put a curve into the walkway as promised, they paved over my wife's flower bed, the landing isn't even close to being level (looks like a putting green with all the undulations). Also they were supposed to fix part of my sidewalk.
  Never put any tape around it so now I have multiple footprints in the area. And the framing wood is still there weeks later. They also used my tools that I had on my back yard. And they kept leaving my side gate open (this is only an issue because I have 2 dogs). I was called me 4 times while I was at work to get the final payment. But now the bricks are chipping from being laid unevenly, I've called them 3 times but no one will call me back.

  Sidewalks, gutters, and siding

  Able Construction Job Not Well Done

  I would not hire them again or recommend anyone hire them for any kind of contracting. Paid them $1150 for sidewalk blocks and a new gutter with downspout. Sidewalks were lifted due to tree roots. Men began pouring cement without ripping up tree roots. The men borrowed OUR tools after we told them they were supposed to rip up the roots. I had a coupon for $100 off, so the man said he would replace a piece of siding for me that had a whole, so they duct taped it and said they would return the next day with matching siding. There is still a piece of duct tape outside our house that's been there for several weeks. New sidewalks are uneven, not framed and spilling into our grass, and the men ran out of cement half way during the job and had to run to home depot for more supplies. When trying to contact this company for a resolution, we are always told a manager will call us back, and that never happens. We have contacted BBB and Consumer Affairs about a resolution and we are waiting for the company to respond. I would not suggest hiring them for anything as they didn't come prepared or even know what they were doing. They were going to pour cement on top of tree roots that were causing the problem and charge us full price as if they did what they were supposed to. Luckily we came outside when they began laying the cement or we would have never caught them. Work was left incomplete even though they cashed my check, for the money I work hard for.

  Roof

  Don't hire them, they are a scam. I was robbed of my $2,000. I thought I had a leak in the roof. They came out and fix it, according to them. In reality, they didn't. The leak was in my bathroom. They took my money but are not answering my calls. Please, please do not be fooled by them. The Better Business Bureau cannot help because they are having a problem just trying to locate their business. I will be contacting the Division of Consumer Affairs to report this unfair practice of taking people's money and not providing the services stated in their contract.

  Gutter & Guard Replacement

  Gutter Replacement

  At this point I don't know if I would recommend them or not! They did great with the small stuff I asked them to do and they did right off the truck OR right away. I called them back to do gutters and guards and had problems. The gutters weren't hung right and the guards were cheap screens that were not attached correctly. When I was able to get Benny of Able back after a few delays, he fixed the pitch error 95% and the guards would be replaced. I waited 2 1/2 weeks for the guards to be repaired and we are not completely happy with them but are willing to see how they make out over the winter. I had the work done Mid August and I am still waiting for the contract/warranty I was told came with the gutters. I have received every excuse you can imagine including we will be there, we are one our way, it's in the mail, I will email right now, I will overnight it to you, I will take a road trip with the family and drop it off. Between everything under the sun happening to prevent him from getting here to fix the problem and him showing up around 6:30 a.m. on a Saturday morning and calling me to let me know he (Benny) was on the roof and fixing the gutters (no pre-notification, just showed up!) Now I appreciate that he finally got there to do the work, but my son and a friend are living in this house and they didn't for the life of them know who was on the roof and were ready to call the police! And of course he forgot to bring the contract/warranty with him when he stopped down. I am not an unappreciative person.....I know he tried, but seriously unprofessional and non-committal, except when they want the cash payment.
