AVOID THIS COMPANY ! ! ! ! DON'T BELIEVE THE OTHER POSITIVE REVIEWS.

I paid 75% of the cost of a generator $8727 on July 1st and today Aug 7th, the generator is still not functional - and a POSSIBLE SAFETY HAZARD. It FAILED inspection on Monday Aug 5th for electrical. AC Mechanical has refused to send a tech out to meet the inspector to address these issues. Storm is coming and though I paid nearly 9K almost 6 weeks ago I do not have a functional generator (and I possibly have a SAFETY HAZARD).

Spoke with the owner George who takes no responsibility for this situation and says "I can't help what the city does" and "it's not my fault". Contract indicates AC Mechanical handles the installation and inspection (which the generator has FAILED) "not their fault".

To add to this already unbelievable service nightmare, the workers as AC MECHANICAL HIT MY CAR causing $4000 worth of damage when they came to install my generator. Yet still they will not fix this problem.

DEFINITELY GO WITH JCT ELECTRIC (OR ANYONE BUT AC MECHANICAL) IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO BUY A GENERATOR. THIS IS A NIGHTMARE ! ! ! ! !

AC Mechanical is outstanding. George Moore and his employees are among the best, if not the best, contractors I have ever dealt with. We had them install a stand by generator for us. They kept their appointment as scheduled, the crew was was very experienced and efficient, and the installation was well layed out and placed exactly where the HOA said to put it. Unfortunately, the HOA didn't like the curb appeal after the installation was completed so the HOA wanted the unit moved to a different location at their expense. When all of the details were worked out, AC Mechanical was right there to make the move. And again their expertise and efficiency showed as they moved the generator to its new location. There was no grumbling, no delay in scheduling, just pure professionalism. All contractors should be this good. AC Mechanical, you are the best.

George Moore, and his amazing staff, took first rate care of us. The price of our new Generac was very fair. They pulled a permit and installed the unit the next day. Most impressive of all is George’s ability to make you feel like you’re his only client. Awesome service is alive and well! Thank you George and crew!

After paying the York Lowes for a 22Kw Generac on Nov 4, 2020, I got notified they would not be expecting the generator until late April 2021. I called AC Mechanical on Monday, Dec 28, and George came out for a site inspection and quote on Dec 29 and got the permit and installation completed on Dec 31. No one could ask for or provide better service. Not only great service and professional install, his quote was for a better warranty, free three year maintenance and a complete install at a better price form Lowes. The Lowes quote INCLUDED my military discount AND DID NOT INCLUDE running the gas supply lines and hook ups, so a great job, at a great price. I would HIGHLY recommend AC Mechanical, the owner George Moore and his son, Ray Moore, for all your mechanical needs, HVAC, generators, electrical and plumbing.

What a great group of people. From the office staff, the owner and his son, to the professional installers. This is a class act great customer service and pleasant to work with as well. We recently decided to install a whole house generator and began searching for contractors, planning to interview several. The one recommended by our gas company had more bad reviews than good ones, both from customer and employees. An internet search turned up a few, and the one that seemed the best was AC Mechanical. They were our first call and we were so impressed George Moore, the owner, that we never pursued others. The installers were very knowledgeable and courteous, and all details were handled smoothly. We could not be happier with their work. Out of a range of 1 to 5 stars they deserve 6 stars.

I have used AC Mechanical for years for both my personal residence and for commercial projects. George has always done an excellent job. It is gratifying to see he grow from a one man HVAC operation to a large contractor covering many phases of construction projects. He has been able to achieve this level of success because of his attention to satisfying his customers.

I recently had AC Mechanical and company replace a wind damaged roof and damaged siding on my home. It was very convenient to point out what need to be repaired and received an digital estimate within hours. I approved repairs through their app and from there they handled the project. A few days later I was called for a walk through and payment.
