Acadian Remodeling

I used Angi for contactor selection for porch repair, drywall work and soffit repair. One recommendation was Acadian Remodeling.com, so I called them on Mon 08/15 to set up a time to look at the above projects and receive a quote. He (Benny) said he would be at my home on Wed 08/17 in the afternoon. He did not show up. (Strike one).

Called him back and he (Benny) said he would come by on Thu 08/18. He came by and I received a quote for the work. I told him I would make a decision on Monday 08/22. I then called him on Monday afternoon telling him I accepted his bid. He said that he (Benny) would put me on their board and contact me on Monday 08/29. Monday 08/29 passed and he did not contact me. (Strike 2)

Angi called me Tue 08/30 and told them what happen. I then received a call from Benny on 08/31 saying he would be at my house on Monday 09/06 between 8 and 9 am. At 10:00am on 09/06 I called Benny and reminded him that he said he would be at my home between 8 and 9 am. He said let me contact my guy, and I said don't bother. This is the 3rd time you did not do what you said you were do. (Strike 3)

I now have to start over. Do not hire Acadian Remodeling.com.

The sunlight on my patio was leaking causing roof damage. Acadian came out quickly to quote, and despite the many weeks of rain they got the job done. The sunlight was removed, rotten parts of the roof removed & replaced, and closed in the sunlight hole. Kenny even suggested replacing & centering a new ceiling fan on the patio, which he installed for me. Highly recommend Acadian Remodeling, and will use them again for any other projects.

They were unprofessional, took nearly 4 months to finish two bathrooms when i did all the demo before hand. They did damage to the home in the process. When I demanded certain things be finished like a window they installed, they took one month to do what was necessary with two major water leaks occurring during the time. They cannot paint to save their lives, cutting tile was poor, plumbing was poor, planning out and timeliness was very poor. Did not ever clean up after themselves or cover floors without me doing it for them. Would show up for a few hours a day sometimes with more work to be done that day. Would not finish jobs, basically did 80% of work and moved on to the next thing. And then to top it off, lied a out how much time workers were here.
I have documented the entire time with photos and video showing their failures, mistakes, and time after time I had to go behind them to clean up. Specifically grouting tile.
They are incapable of doing the job correctly in my opinion. When asked to check for leaks they said they would and never did.
They have a few workers who are good but Benny and Terry are lazy, bad communicators, and unprofessional. I would text him directly and he would not respond for three days, even when it was due to a leak they caused. Their finished product is below par and I wish I'd never worked with them.
