It took me almost 1 year to post this review as I wanted to be confident that ALL that I am too describe is fair and 100% accurate. So let's start with fair. The work on my leaking roof edge (1/3 of house edge) was apparently fine as I had no more leakage for around 1 year. Also, let’s forget about the debris and nails left all over the property (I’m still finding some) as in the big scheme of things it is not the most important part in the context of emergency of a leaking roof which had and continues to ruin expensive windows and doors. What really got to me is the exorbitant price charged for the work done and furthermore, trying to scare us into fixing the rest of the roof saying that it’s in such bad shape that during the fall rains and winter storms it would definitely result in extensive leaks and damage our entire house. So I almost went for this scheme and if not for my gut feel that told me that I better take a step back to do a research, I would have wasted thousands of additional dollars.
Bottom line; 2 independent estimates confirmed that they’ve charged double for the work they did. That they were charging more than double for the ‘scare tactics’ work which I decided not to do. Most importantly and the facts are that a year later and during extensive fall rains and huge snow storms in (south New Jersey and metropolitan area), not a smudge of any leaks, damage or for that matter any indications of impending problems. The roof was just fine and will remain as such for quite some time as was told by one of the estimators later on. I don’t know the quality of those others roofers, but the facts are that they were reputable and honest in terms of money charged for the work performed. Given a year without any damage and none expected, those are just the facts.

Net/Net; what really gets to me is that these people prey on those in emergency situations and who don’t know ‘known’ roofers hence must take chances on the companies found on the internet.
So despite the apparently good work they’ve done, ask yourselves if you want to deal with such LIARS? and people who take advantage of those in emergency situations? I think the choice is very clear. It's certainly clear for me and those who I’ve seen being in the same situation.

The 1st day a young man assessed what had to be done and wrote an estimate for the whole job that we accepted. they broke down the furnace chimney and part of the fireplace chimney. within 1/2 hour {at end of day and went home} day two early a.m. they finished breaking off the furnace chimney and then the inspector came {which is actually the brother of the owner} he then added over $3,000 b/c he said well we couldn't see how bad it is and we have to bring in special equipment to break out the old clay pieces of furnace chimney. since it is already started and you can't leave a hole in your roof with rain coming they intimidated my 80 year old mother into doing the job and he said it will take 6 people a few days ... well the special tool was like a 6 foot long bit attached to a cordless drill ... they reamed for less than 1 hour and that extra work was done ... the "6 people" were done and gone before 4:15 pm the same day ... it did not take "Special equipment" it did not take 6 people 2-3 days ... the $2,600 estimate the young man did was "right" for this job ... but the boss' brother with his fancy expensive truck saw an opportunity to rip off a senior citizen and he went for it... $3,400 down the drain ... above and beyond the $2,600 it should have been done for. DO NOT trust these people ever !!! he said the contract we agreed to on day one isn't worth the paper it is printed on and if he doesn't approve of his workers estimates he just rips them up and writes his own estimate ... NEVER will they get a recommendation from our family ... it is unconscionable to rip off a senior citizen like this ... and he did it with a smile saying he will come back for a free chimney cleaning in the winter (a whopping $39.95 groupon value)
