My 9 year old Friedrich was starting to run badly and I'd booked another company to come replace it. Trouble was that other company couldn't fit me in for a week and it was turning out to be the hottest day of the year. I called Ace. Bob had the replacement unit in stock and for a hounded or so less. His guys came over the same day. They were very professional and nice and with in a few hours the house was cool.
I was a little nervous because I'd not heard of Ace, but I say this story in the NYTIMES from 1992. (http://www.nytimes.com/1992/09/07/business/air-conditioner-sales-hurt-by-a-mild-summer.html?pagewanted=all&src=pm_) That put me at ease knowing this is a company with 50 years of service under their belts.
I'd call them again and would recommend them. My experience with buying a high end Friedrich Keul SM1830 from them was A++
