Ace Construction Mmxi T/A Shawn Ace

We hired Shawn to rebuild our garage - a project he said would take approximately a month. After approximately 6 months, and us spending our entire budget, Shawn walked away from the job, leaving it approximately 50% complete. Along the way, he destroyed our driveway and lawn, his subcontractors asked us for more money, he did not monitor his subcontractors, and we were thrown in between fights between him and his subcontractors. When I tried to find a resolution, he cursed me out over the phone.

When we had another contractor come in to finish the job, we learned of many additional issues with the work that was done including: using bad (rotten) wood, not doing work up to code, making changes to the garage that were not disclosed to us.

Avoid working with Shawn at all costs.

I used Ace in 2011 to tear down a fire damaged house and to build a new one. They do and arrange everything. You do nothing. I said what I wanted, and they built it to exact specs. They also reinforced the barn style garage and concreted the floor. They find the best prices on the materials to keep cost down. You will not be disappointed. This prairie style log cabin is the star of the neighborhood.

Shawn offered to go above and beyond what other bidders suggested, and working around the weather, did a great job in a timely manner! We are especially pleased with his creativity, versatility and attention to detail. We are delighted with the results and will be calling him again.
