    Siding
    $24,000
    10 days

Ace did our Hardie plank siding and we are very pleased with the appearance . The price was a little more than what we expected but the results were worth the price. They cleaned up well which was important to us because we have children and pets. I would definitely recommend them.

    Window and paint
    $7,000

Ace home services did our windows and painting and we were pleased with the work. We have a few windows left to do and we'll definitely have Ace finish the rest when we're ready.

    House lifted and siding
    $30,000
    20 days

Amazed that some people still walk you through the whole process. There were things we had to change throughout the project. At times down right stressful but my husband or I never felt left out. They explained the why the changes had to be made. They never complained when I changed my mind either. If you are looking for perfect in construction, ( 4 houses) I have learned through the years that doesn't happen. At least you can trust ACE to keep you informed. The end project looks great. The whole house was lifted so it was no easy feet. Also we had to put some siding where there were pieces that had torn off. Thanks again, job well done.

    Roof repair
    $2,800
    1 day

I was very pleased with Ace. I had a small leak in my sunroom where it attaches to my house. They came out the same day I called them and find the leak. The leak was fixed the following day. It rained a couple of days ago here and the leak is gone. They didn't charge a lot. It was reasonable compared to other companies that came out.

    Siding roof
    $16,000
    5 days

I used Ace for my siding and roofing. They were on time everyday and did great clean up. I have dogs and am always concerned with the nails after a project. We searched and searched not a single nail was left. The siding looks outstanding as well as the roof. Both my husband and I were pleased and would refer them to our friends.

    Roofing
    $4,500
This company is a disgrace and we are so sorry to have come into

I, an 81 yr old, partially blind, overly trusting woman, and my 84 yr old, partially blind, Korean War Veteran husband have been repeatedly lied to, ignored by, taken advantage of, and insulted by Ace Home Services of NJ license 13VH08714000, which claims to be a roofing company from either Marlton or Point Pleasant, and run by either Cody Farrant or Richard Robertson depending upon which story they’re weaving.
Spinal stenosis has left my husband, who not long ago fixed all home issues himself, so bent over that he could not see our roof was damaged to the point of needing urgent attention. ACE was the first to respond to our internet search for a contractor and on Dec. 16th we welcomed Richard into our house with relief and gratitude. He gave us an estimate for $4,500 that he said included a 15% discount if we didn’t mind work being done over the holidays. I signed a contract promising work would be done within 15 business days of Dec 16th barring bad weather conditions and wrote Richard a check for 50% ( $2,550). The check was cashed promptly the next day. Christmas weather was warm and mild. ACE was silent. No one came; no one called. LIES
The weather began to change. The roof became more deteriorated to the point that I called Richard Dec. 28th requesting a tarp set up to protect the house. Richard promised a tarp by Dec.30th and real work to start Jan. 1st 2016. No one came; no one called. A nerve wracking game of LIES continued as the weather turned bad and pieces of the roof fell off, exposing the inside walls of the house.
Jan. 5th and 6th I left unreturned messages. My children became concerned and involved, registering complaints with the State of New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs and with the websites Thumbtack and HomeAdvisor that ACE relied upon heavily for advertising. A site rep called Cody, who is listed as the owner. Cody promised the work would begin on Jan. 9th or Jan. 11th , at the latest. No one came; no one called. LIES
On Jan. 10th, we sent certified letters to both ACE addresses letting it be known that ACE breached the contract and we were done with them. The Marlton addressed letter came back. Richard got his in Point Pleasant. My son-in-law called Richard multiple times with no response. Jan. 12th, Richard finally called us. I TOLD HIM THAT WE WANTED OUT OF THE CONTRACT AND OUR MONEY BACK SINCE ACE HAD NOT LIVED UP TO THEIR SIDE OF IT. He argued, then offered a $500 discount to give them another chance.
I told Richard that my husband and I were too upset to continue. He’d have to talk to my son-in-law who came to an ultimatum with Richard. On Jan.14th at 12 noon sharp, a tarp would be put on the roof and the work would begin on Jan. 15th. If no one came by noon sharp, the contract was over. At noon: No one came; no one called. LIES
At 2:20pm a pickup truck arrived with the “special order materials?” for the house, and a tarp “purchased just for us”. What legitimate roofing business doesn’t have reusable tarps on-hand? And, if “special order materials” were what we were waiting for, we were never told. We were never told! The young delivery man was turned away and told the contract was over. The calls began. Our son-in law was told by Rich we would never get our money back. Rich said many things, seemingly experienced in this type of situation.
Cody told us he had a good legal team. He was done with us. Cody called my Korean War Vet husband childish for not answering the phone. He questioned our relationship with our son-in-law ….”Did he visit? Come for holidays? Eat meals with us?” Cody said our sil could not speak for us. He also said “Due to you wanting to wait until after holidays…” Do these clowns talk to each other? We thought we were getting a discount to do it during the holidays. “Yes”, we said “yes, do it during the holidays.”
Another company did the job, promptly, as promised, in 5 hours not ACE’s estimated 2 days, with no special order materials, for $2,800 not $4,500, and a 10 year guarantee.
In our minds, ACE is not a real business, but a couple of dealers who contract a job, get a large deposit from unsophisticated, elderly people, make promises they have no intention of keeping, farm out the job to a sub contractor who may or may not be available in the time stated – or experienced enough to do the job properly. ACE should not be licensed in the state of New Jersey or any other state where elderly people are ripe for their lying promises and the taking of their money. We do not trust them. . Richard came to our home, lied through his teeth, and took our money. The check was cashed the following day. It was all about getting the down payment and then refusing to answer the phone to talk to us. This is elder abuse as well as bad business. This company is a disgrace and we are so sorry to have come into contact with them.

Response from Ace Home Services Inc March 29, 2016
We dispute this review. The homeowner did not write this review. It was written by a relative that is trying to control the finances of the homeowner and has no interest in repairing the severe damage that occurred to the home over time. Ace showed up as scheduled to start the project but the son in law refused to allow our crew to do the work. Very unfortunate situation but very untrue review.
