Run, do not walk, as far away from these people as you can. They came to our condo to 'paint' and do repairs to the exterior of the property. They love their caulk! They claimed they would repair the stucco, but they only stuffed the large holes full of caulk and called it good. They were supposed to repair/replace several sections of the trim work and an area under the roof overhang and guess what? More huge globs of caulk! I used to be a contractor and I know for a fact that caulk is not designed to fill in 3/4 inch deep holes that are 2 inches by 1.5 inches in size. They painted today and I am very hopeful that it was only a base coat of sorts, because it is peeling in several places already and they failed to scrape one entire wall so the paint is completely chipped and falling off in large chunks.
Next up the condition in which they left my property. Trash everywhere, and we even had a trash can on the patio! They did not tarp things off properly so all of my decorative paver stones now match the color of my unit, I wonder if I was charged extra for that? They failed to use a tarp when they scraped the few areas that were actually prepped for paint and they did not bother to clean any of that up.
The final straw here is the condition of the lawn. We have fresh winter grass that covers the yard, the grass does not touch the majority of the house and there is a sidewalk along the majority of the grass. Do you think that this companies pathetic employees could use the sidewalk? Nope! They trampled the entire lawn, including areas that are nearly 10 feet from the nearest area that was to be painted. They also broke 2 of my solar lights that were both nearly 10 feet away from the nearest area that needed to be painted. Why were they even in this section of my yard at all? I was aware that I would likely have some repairs to the grass to do after they left, but it clearly looks like they deliberately and maliciously caused the damages to the lawn. I even placed a sign up that stated "brand new grass, please use caution on our baby grass;" this was flat out ignored.
I would not let this company paint my doghouse, let alone anything of importance or value. I certainly would never allow them to do any real construction to my home, I could imagine them trying to build a wall using only caulk and standing back scratching their heads trying to figure out why it keeps falling over.
