Acme Builders is proud to bring New England craftsmanship to the many deserving buildings of the East Bay. We pay attention to details and care for every project like it was our own.
The smallest home improvement project we will generally consider is a bathroom remodel or a deck. But if you have a small project call us anyway and we'd be glad to refer you to our network of trusted subcontractors and handymen. We do kitchen remodels, additions, and we love to do structural work like seismic retrofits.
We also do commercial TI work, although we are a non-union shop.

I bought a home w/ literally a tree through the roof (it was foreclosed). The 2011 rainy season was at its peak when I finally got connected to Paul. He was the most helpful, honest, and supremely knowledgeable contractor I met after having screened bids from from over 10 GCs. He took the time to walk through and explain all phases of construction, and worked with me when I wanted to find more cost-effective solutions. His work is impeccable as well as timely -- he got that leaky roof up within 2 weeks of meeting! He went on to pour a new basement foundation, reinforce structural beams in a sinking corner of the house, and built a bath addition, amongst many other repairs in my "fixer." I can recommend Paul and his team w/out reservation.
