We are going on 3 years and they have not been able to complete the move in punch list, let alone do anything for the one year punch list. Getting them to respond to emails, text, or phone calls are just about impossible. They seem to be inept at doing what they say they will do. Terrible customer service, and zero follow through!

RUN!!!!!!!! If I could give them zero stars, I would! Awful homes! We had only been in our home for a few months and already had major problems...foundation issues, warped/slanted/sinking floors, major drainage and water issues - not only throughout our property but in the entire neighborhood and water in our crawl space. Undrinkable/damaging water. We had professionals come give reports on what/how things need to get fixed and they refuse to do so. There are a ton of other issues in the home because of lack of care, hard work, quality material and pride of workmanship. We were promised all sorts of things by Bob and instead have been left with $80K (at the very least) worth of problems. The homes may look nice but they won't last long. Steps are skipped at every turn and sub-par materials are used for every aspect of the homes. These are advertised as luxury homes and cost luxury prices but in the end they are garbage. Nothing but regret after our purchase!
Acme Homes LLC is deceitful and unprofessional. They appear to be communicative and friendly until the closing of the sale, after which they ignore you and forget about promises made prior to closing. During the walkthrough of the house we purchased, we agreed on a list of items that were to be fixed prior to close. On the close date when we moved in, we found that most of the open issues were not completed and that the home was a mess. After only living in the house for a couple months, it was evident that the quality of the house and build is not there. Shortcuts were made throughout construction and shoddy workmanship all throughout the house. It truly is lipstick on a pig. The attention to detail is non-existent. Further, they didn’t repair the trim on the doors/windows that had already been damaged from traffic during construction. This is a complete contradiction of what they claim to be from their website: “Established in 2006, Acme Homes prides itself on quality craftsmanship, professional service, innovative, functional and beautiful designs; competitive pricing; and above all, 100% customer satisfaction.” Quality craftsmanship? - Sinkholes in floor under the carpet. Bumps in stairs. Sinking spots in the subfloor and hardwood floors. Loose sink faucets. Backwards light fixtures. Showers curb angled outwards so water doesn’t drain. All the doors are inches too short. Flat paint for almost the entire home. Gauges/marks left all over the walls. Warped walls. No water pressure. Major uneven heating/cooling of the home. We were promised a whole home water filter, they installed a $25 system that does nothing to the undrinkable water which also stains sinks/toilets and we can’t even wash our clothes in it because that get an awful smell from the water. Professional service? No response to emails. No return calls or texts. Missed appointments over and over again. The staff is unresponsive and disorganized. It takes months/years for a single issue to get addressed, and the end result is that it is not fixed properly, if at all. It has been over a year after closing and we still do not have most of the original list of open items addressed. I strongly urge you NOT to purchase a home from Acme Homes LLC. Acme Homes LLC is also doing business as Acme Drywall LLC, Acme Evergreen LLC and Apex Homes LLC.

Bob Cumming was a real gentleman and promised all kinds of quality in the home. His crew then built a home where if framing was an inch or two short, they left the gap and didn't get a longer board. This was found in walls and the attic. The stairway has squeaked since the day we moved in. Raymond must have put 25+ screws in treads trying to stop squeaks. Today, every step except the bottom step squeaks every time you use them. Warm water comes out of the tap when using the kitchen sink. If I want a glass of cold water I have to get it from the refrigerator. Overall, the house is a pig with lipstick. Nothing but regrets after dealing with Bob & Jennifer Cumming and ACME Homes llc.

Not sure why their review score is still high. They don’t really keep their promises and they don’t deliver your houses as complete on time. They sell the house to you with unprofessional mistakes and incomplete projects that they don’t even finish after you move in for a long time. In my case, they are trying to complete my house by doing a cheap job to avoid paying for a mandoor protection railing, and they ignored the residential fire sprinkler system requirement by the county and now being caught up and having to retrofit the fire sprinkler system once the house is done and right before closing, and they blame the county not to let them pass. Not to mention the entire house is with blue and green tapes all over after our orientation, and a 100 pager inspection report with all issues. Please spend your money wisely for a better builder. Be away from this one.
