I hired Jerrold to install a tub and to install tile for my surround and also for my floor, he came highly recommended. I foolishly signed his 12,509$ contract. wrote him a check for 6,254.50/ half down. he said he would start immediately. 3 weeks later he called and wanted to start the job. I was frustrated but I allowed him the opportunity to complete his contract. he used bottom grade vynll stick tiles on my walls and floor and im sure this is a used tub beens it was already stained with mineral damage from water. when the job was fishished I was disgusted and I did not pay him. the next day his lawyer called me and demanded payment or they would sue. I called a lawyer also and mine advised that I was obligated to pay him. now I have to hire another contractor to fix this. maybe next year I can afford it, I just hope the next victim of action remodeling reads this before its too late.
