My garbage disposal stopped grinding food. I called Acute Plumbing and they were there within 3 hours. Turns out the impeller blades were stuck in place. After trying to free them, the plumber said I needed a new unit. My disposal was still under warranty, but I couldn't find the receipt. Instead of trying to get me to buy the disposal he had in his truck (which he could easily have done), he advised me to try calling the manufacturer with the serial number in hopes they would make good on the warranty. Then he didn't even charge me for the call out, even though he had driven to my house and spent time trying to free the impellers. I'll definitely call Acute Plumbing again.
