  A.D. Kistler and Son Bathroom Specialist Company. From a vintage “early 1970s, dull, small-shower, small-closet bathroom” to a spacious, roomy, functional and beautiful bathroom: In 2016 we contracted with Archie Kistler and Son to tear out our old master bathroom and replace it with a custom-designed, custom-built master bathroom. After more than three years, the bathroom looks as beautiful today as it did the day it was finished. We had invited three different contractors to have a look and give us an estimate. One sent us an estimate, but only after we had to repeatedly request it. Another was much more professional and direct about the level of work they could do, which we appreciated. This contractor advised that our idea of moving the toilet would not be worth the amount of work and time it would take. The final contractor we interviewed for the job was A.D, Kistler and Son. Archie, the owner, came over to have a look, told us the toilet move would take him (he is a master plumber) about half an hour and would really be a good thing to do. We reviewed our general idea of what we wanted to do, and after a number of measurements as well as a number of consultations regarding type and quality of cabinetry and tiles, hardware, plumbing work required, and overall design, we settled up on the final plan. Within a few days, we received his extremely detailed work and payment plan, and we signed up. At the agreed-to date, Archie’s son Kevin and team arrived and began the complete removal of our old bathroom. Before that began, however, they carefully set up large plastic floor-to-ceiling sheeting so that no dust would get into our master bedroom, and floor and stairs covering for the entire route between the bathroom and the door to the house. During the demolition phase of the work, at the end of the day, the bathroom was cleaned up, and all the floor covering was removed. During this entire project, every step possible was taken to minimize the impact on our day-to-day life, to include outdoor tile and walk-in-shower cutting. Archie, Kevin, and the others who came assist with this considerable project were completely professional and courteous at all times. They showed up on time, and they ended the day on time. When a supplier made an error (it happens), Archie got it fixed. End result: We have an amazingly beautiful bathroom with and equally amazing improvement in roominess and functionality, one that many of our friends have come over to see, especially when considering a bathroom renewal effort of their own.

  I had Kidtler install an enlarged shower with a build into the wall handicap bar both inside and outside to replace bathtub as I can get into tub.work excellent & price also.He also handled a new 40 gal water heater to my satisfaction! If I have any new problems.... I will be calling Kistler& Son
