    Roof Installation on new construction

    I purchased a new house and within a year the ceiling in the lanai developed some paint bubbles. I had it repaired, but late last year with the heavy storm it reappeared, and I determined that the roof above it had a leak. Called a local company to repair and they informed me the leak was caused by shoddy workmanship when it was installed new. It was only this past week I discovered that Ad-ler Roofing did the original install. When I called them and informed them of the issue, their response was that since they did not inspect the damage or do the repair, they could not do anything for me. I have talked to numerous homeowners in my community and a number of them have required roof repairs for roofs under 5 years old. Shoddy workmanship in all cases.

    Re Roof

    No I would not recommend this company it took months to finally get the tile and then it was the wrong tile which they installed on the roof and now won't stand behind their mistake, whatever you do Don't use Ad-ler Roofing it will cost you in the end

    Last fall my wife and I decided that it was time for a new roof after having minor leaks the previous two years. Our choice was between three local companies. All three companies currently are well known in Fort Myers, have a BBB rating of A+ and have been in business for at least 25 years.

    After a thorough decision making process our choice was AD-LER Roofing.

    Number of years in the roofing business - To me, this determines if the company has financially demonstrated that it is sound enough to withstand state/national economic fluctuations.

    AD-LER has been in the roofing business for 29 years.

    Historic reputation of the company - AD-LER has an excellent reputation of roofing construction from Orlando to Marco Island, Florida during their 29 years in business. My personal experience interfacing with AD-LER, from working with the company representative discussing what the total roofing construction process would consist of, to working with the competent/ professional staff and project supervisor, my high expectations were always met. I also corresponded with previous customers of AD-LER who spoke positively of their roofing outcome.

    The contract process - Ryan Gartrell was my original contact person with AD-LER. Ryan listened to our roofing wants and needs and then explained our different options with AD-LER. He was very knowledgeable and thorough with his answers and very patient with our questions. My wife and I felt much more informed about the process after talking with Ryan and it made us feel more comfortable with our choice. Additionally, AD-LER's cost was very competitive.

    Construction process - I found that every phase of the roofing process, from taking my old roof tile off to the new finished roof, was done very professionally, as I was told by Ryan that it would be. From the project supervisor to each individual crew member that was involved, all seemed like their team goal was to provide my wife and I with the best roof possible. Extra care was also taken to protect my house, driveway, and property during the construction process.

    Post roofing completion follow-up - Any post-roofing completion issues were promptly and professionally dealt with by the AD-LER team.

    Recommendation - Based on all aspects of roofing experience, if I were able to go back nine months to last fall and start the decision making process all over again, AD-LER would again be my choice hands down.
