    Build a house
    $337,000

    This builder throws homes together. Buys appliances on sale and then later uses them. Not knowing if anything is wrong with them. He doesn’t check his work. Base cabinets put in wrong, leaving gap s between the units, which also make the cabinets and drawers not operate correctly. Drips of paint EVERYWHERE!!! Uses spare hardware to throw in a home. Uses them in all different colors. Doesn’t finish things out correctly. Doesn’t meet trim up to each other leaving gaps. Did I mention paint dripping everywhere from the trim?? Cuts doors uneven and still uses them. Makes shelves out of left over warped board for the food pantry. Counter tops are not cut to the correct measurements so it leaves gaps and openings. Doesn’t caulk things. Shimmy’s the foundation of the home. Doesn’t seal around the outside windows. His trades do the bare minimum and is sloppy!!!

    He guy builds a crappy home but wants to charge a premium price!!! Go look at the home at 1079 Garton Road, Burns Tn. Your mouth will drop!!! We were in contract with him and had him fix a lot of things. But go look at the craftsmanship of this guy. He has on his website: honestly, integrity and quality! You will get none of that with this builder. If you point anything out that isn’t correct, he throws a fit and doesn’t want to fix it. Due to the winter storm we recently had, everything was shut down. Our appraiser couldn’t get the appraisal back in time which meant we couldn’t close on the original date. He used that as his opportunity to no longer honor our contract. All because the appraisal came back at $337,000 and he wants $345,500 or more for it. He wants a premium price but doesn’t give a premium product. I have picture of the home and all of the blue tape we did, that we were expected to accept by David. While paying a premium prices I might add!!!

    BUYER BEWARE!!! OUR EXPERIENCE WITH TBIS BUILD WAS AWFUL!!!! He pulled out of our contract because he claimed this house wasn’t right for us and that we were too picky. He said he didn’t want to be coming back to the home all the time during the 1 year builders warranty. But then offered to build us another like we want!!!! What’s??? We wanted this one but to be built and finished correctly!!! It made no sense.

    I would suggest you find another builder that actually cares about the people he builds for. This guys a joke!!

    I have been a licensed contractor for 30 years and take great pride in the craftsmanship of the homes that I build and the manner in which I conduct business. Please visit davidadamsconstruction.com to view feedback from a few of my many satisfied clients or simply ask about me in my local community. Also, you can easily verify online through the licensing board's website that my contractor's license is fully active and without a single instance of disciplinary action since I first obtained my license in 1993. Notably, the home referenced by this reviewer immediately went under contract again and sold at full asking price. The purchasers were thrilled to own the home. I have no doubt they will enjoy it for many years to come! I hope this reviewer has since found a home to purchase and a builder with whom she could work amicably.
