Adams Renovations

Adams Renovations built a 27'x 17' office in the basement of our condo.

The first thing to say is that I am very good at visualizing what a project will end up looking like. This one significantly exceeded that vision.

It was built exactly on budget even though from time of quote until AR was able to complete it after previous commitments were finished was over six months, there was plenty of stop-go time to justify cost increases.

The build quality and painting were excellent and AR's management of subs was seamless.
Jeff Adams is a perfectionist and there were always little touches that were not part of the deal but added to the attractiveness of the space. For instance having had scrap baseboard trim, he put trim around the base of a steel column we chose to leave exposed. I joked with him that it looked so good we should add a Corinthian column top to it (then thought better of it!).
When one works with a contractor, there is usually some minor disappointment about some aspect of a job. In our case there has been never such a disappointment. AR has done major painting for us as well as carpentry work, always totally satisfactory.
I love my new office space, a warm welcoming room that never ceases to impress us. It also served as a cocktail party room recently.
