Why did I hire this guy? He uses 3 company names: Adams Reconstruction and Remodeling, Accountable Contractors and Precision Contractors. He put up a wooden privacy fence on my property and never bother to nail the 8X8 sections to a 4X4 post. I have nails everywhere in the wood, the fence is totally uneven and crooked, nothing is cemented to the ground so its leaning over. I have to put huge rocks against so it doesn't fall to the ground. I can't believe someone would be so cruel as to rip me off. had a lawnmower stolen because he installed the handles on the street side. When I told him about this he said "just get a lock". I was awarded through an arbitrator a FULL REFUND but will never get my $$$$$ back. Now it needs to be torn down and rebuilt for another 3.5 grand!!! This guy is a real clown and needs to be caught. He probably created a few more phony names, but do not ever write a check out to Richard Adams.

Unfortunately for me, I didn't see this review before I hired him. Not only is his work horrible, but his worker stole items from my home. Please never hire this man. I have filed a complaint the the attorney generals office, contractor fraud devision and sent the information to the news. Please do the same, even though it's been so long. PLEASE!! Never hire this person (Rich Adams, no matter what he calls his company) to do any work for you. Trust me, I learned the hard way and I don't want to see anyone else taken advantage of by this individual.
He gives all contractors a bad name. His workmanship is very poor, his attitude is unprofessional, and he cannot be trusted to complete a job to an acceptable level. He will promise you the world but and probable give you a great price but in the end, the work will be so bad that you will end up spending more money to have a real professional come and redo the job.
And if he works under a different company name, it is probably because he screwed someone else under one name and was forced to change the name of his company.
Sorry but this is the truth. The only reason he was given one star is because they don't allow you to give zero stars.

This has been a terrible experience when I hired Rich Adams from Accountable Contractors. He also uses a name Adams Reconstruction and Remodeling and Precision Contractors. Stay away from this guy. He put a wooden privacy fence up for me and it is the joke of the neighborhood. He did the job in August 2016, and the fence is falling down. I as awarded a full refund from the arbitrator and have not received a penny back. Rich Adams will not return any of my 20+ messages. Do not hire this guy!!!
