I hired this contractor to re do my bathroom in January of this year. At first they seemed enthusiastic and willing to please. I paid the 20% upfront and gave them the advance for the materials. Then the trouble began. First they told us we needed a 60" vanity when the one they were replacing was 72". Fortunately, the owner of the cabinet took it back with a $300 restocking fee. This contractor did not even offer to pay this restocking fee even though it was there mistake. There seemed to be no communication between the owner and his general foreman. the foreman wanted to know why we bought a 60" vanity. I told him it was because that is what the owner said we need. It seemed that once they had your money in your hand they did not appear to be very customer focus. They wanted their money that very same day and gave you no time to transfer it from your savings to your checking account.
After our vanity and granite top were installed it took them almost two weeks to return my phone call. All they needed was to installed the faucets on the sinks, install the grab bar and general cleanup. It took them almost two days to install the faucets and they never installed the grab bar or conduct the general clean up.
In the end, the work was good but the lack of customer service was extremely frustrating. If you do use this contractor insist on holding a minimum of $1000 until everything is completed since they are only driven by money and not customer service.
