Take a look at the BBB review from 2014, for another opinion on this contractor. Brett Barksdale has some nice looking houses that he has built in the past. This is why we chose him. Everyone we have spoken to, who has had a house built with him, has had massive delays, with many taking more than a year to build a single family home. He promises 4 to 6 months before you sign the contract. Many people discuss his corporate financial troubles openly, and I have been told he owes subcontractors 6 figures, which will likely never be paid due to a bankruptcy filing by his company. Do not get involved with this builder or you will regret it.
