After talking to several contractors we found Kurt with Affirmative Construction. He showed up on time and listened to us and what we wanted to accomplish. He assured us it was 'our house' and did it how we wanted it done, which was cost effective. He was clean throughout the project, he even took photos before during and after for us so we understood exactly what was going on. We highly recommend Kurt.

Kurt Dahlgren is a poor workmanship. Overran budget in 30%. Overran schedule in 6 months and took my money and quit. He's a dishonest person. It does not fulfill what it says. He uses your cash as cash flow for other projects. Liar. He charges abusive prices. He took 15.000,00 from me and quit.
I'm a international real state investor and you should take with this Kurt Dahlgren guy. Watch out. Do not hire this guy.

Affirmative Construction (Kurt D) signed a contract with us in Dec. 2023. I terminated him in the permit for ABANDONMENT, MISHANDING OF FUNDS and POOR WORKMANSHIP. roof leaking, installed windows leaking , cracked foundation, holes in the block wall, etc... He has taken over $150K in progress payments and left us in debt with sub-contractor. We are now at a loss of over $60K. I HIGHLY recommend not using Affirmative Construction for your next project!
