Contractor did not finish roof. He demanded more money to finish the rest of the roof after already being paid in full. Left shingles all over my yard
I went out to get 3 bids for the roof to be replaced of a house i was buying, the seller of the house agreed to pay for the repair. Jayson's at affordable carpentry was the cheapest at $5,800. The seller of my house went with him and paid him in full when i bought the house, I now realize the seller should have paid half then and half when he finished. Jayson finished 90 percent of the roof and told me the roof was larger than what he thought. He had taken a measurement off of another bidder instead of measuring himself. He wanted me to pay for the rest of the shingles because of his mistake to verify measurements as he stated he would do under the contract. Now I have an unfinished roof which means i will lose my home insurance and shingles/nails scattered across my front/back yard. Jayson is extremely unprofessional in his work and the way he talked with me over text messages. I should have picked a contractor with more experience and good reviews. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

Jayson made every effort to make sure that he was able to finish my project by my deadline. He has been very helpful for me with my multiple properties. He was around the same or less than other bids on my deck. It turned out better than expected. He put new trim on my main level that transformed my house into a look I was going for.
