I was very happy with this roof on our newly built home. The owner Don was easy to work with and their prices were more affordable than the other companies we reached out to. No leaks or other issues. I recommended this company to my parents who need to replace the roof on the home I grew up in.

Job went well. Had a leak at vent pipe, was repaired. Ask for additional work,ice/snow guards, did not reply. Text in mid Feb same vent pipe is leaking, has return message or called.

We had three quotes on a metal roofing. Don Smith the owner of Affordable Metal Roofing came prepared with a folder that had a copy of their insurance, contracting license, quote sheet with the options, and an example of the metal used. They use 24 gauge compared to the 28 gauge the other companies had shown us. We had a problem with water seeping in through our chimney the other companies were going to put some new flashing aroung it, that would not solve the problem. Affordale Metal Roofing built a surround for our fireplace with the metal then Don Smith built a custom made gondola for the top. Very Happy with the company and love the roof.

He requires half when he starts, then will not show up after receiving that money to finish the job. They laid the paper, then it was excuse after excuse as to why they didn’t show up and now completely ghosted us. We are not the first either, from what we have discovered there are dozen more people that he has stolen from. He had done our house about 6-7 years ago and was great, not sure why he is scamming people now it’s just sad. Do not trust this guy!
