Really attentive. From start to finish. Great communication and my bathroom/bedroom doors work for the first time in years. Highly recommended.

Definitely not! They talk like they know what they are doing, but they don't.
We called them for over a year to come finish their job leveling our house and they finally showed up after turning them in to the BBB. Then, they did more damage to our house. People, please pay close attention.

I contacted AFS Foundations after having several companies come out to my home. I had bids ranging from $18,000 down to $3,600 with several different pier types being suggested. We decided to take a break for a couple of weeks and try to decipher the information we had amassed. When I called AFS I spoke with Cathy who was most patient with my frustrations and answered many of my questions before we even scheduled an appointment. Once Dan came out the following afternoon, he was a wealth of information that I had not receive from any other company. I was not aware we needed a permit to have work performed. I was NOT aware that in order to get a permit from the city we would need an engineers report from a licensed engineer. I received the name and number for an engineer not associated with AFS and was told why a third party engineer was the safest route for me to go. Dan also explained to me that it would be wise to have a plumbing test done to rule out any possible plumbing issues as there was some suspicious "floor thing" (I don't think that was the scientific term he used) going on near the hall bathroom. Once I received my engineers report, I was free to use any company I wanted to for my repair that the report belonged to me. Dan told me that an engineer was the only one that would officially tell me exactly what the issue was with my home and then a foundation repair company could come in and repair the problem. Beware of any company giving away free engineers reports!! They aren't free!! When I called the engineer recommended to me and he came out, he took his time, answered ALL of my questions and addressed my concerns. My home needed 20 exterior piers and 2 interior piers. With my permit, piers, clean up and concrete repairs my total contract was:: $7400. It wasn't the cheapest and definitely wasn't the most expensive. It was however the best experience. I was comfortable from my first conversation with Cathy, to Dans visit, to the visit with the engineer and the plumber, to the 2 days spent with their crew. They were cordial and respectful of my home and they worked efficiently and effectively. My flower beds were mulched when they were done as well!! I would definitely recommend AFS to anyone looking for a reputable and economical company to repair their foundation.
