Addition of 3rd bedroom wall, door,&closet door were done ok, new electrical outlets were installed ok, but one corner of the new wall looks like a crack at the top of the seam needed repairs. Failed to add a door stopper on the new door. Had to tell them to clean out the extra wood left in the strike plate goes/hole, a little sloppy workmanship and also had to tell them to cut off some of the bottom of new door as it was rubbing pretty tightly on top of the new carpets......dah ! Horrible job on carpet install, ok on install of pergo flooring. Would not refer them to family or friends. Having problems with electrical in the bedroom next to the new bedroom now.....don't know why outlets are not working. Hired to fix stress cracks, had to keep asking them to fix them as I found more, so hit and miss them not very detail oriented. Carpet installed was the worse I've ever seen, left some spots missing carpet, holes,or uneven on ledges(nosing)of stairs, lack of carpet around doorways(cut too short), seaming together can see it. To fix problems, glue was used for fixing problem areas.....very unprofessionally done. The closet sliding was last to installed cuz the first two doors were broken by Home
Depot, I paid them for poor carpet installed because I was
afraid Atermath Construction would not return to finish the
closet door install. They kept asking for more money which
was included in the original bid, due to home depot delays
breaking two sets of closet doors. Which I told them it's NOT my fault. They ruined the scribe molding in hallway
bathroom cabinet and the replace only one side of it with a
non painted to match molding and left to another project
elsewhere.
