John Edward Agan
Owner
John Agan has done several projects for me. My introduction to John's work came
about 5 years ago when he was sub-contracted to build my new bathroom vanity
& my linen storage cabinet for my master bath remodel. To date, John's cabinetry blows away the work done by the contractor who redid my bathroom.
When I was looking for a specific 4 drawer filing cabinet & the only thing that came
close involved pressed wood, I turned to John & he built the exact filing cabinet I wanted out of solid wood. His craftsmanship is not to be found in a store, ready-made.
When I wanted to reconfigure my small 10x10 foot den & get rid of the many pieces of office furniture that were all serving a purpose & replace everything with attractive built-in natural maple cabinetry, John fashioned my dream den using my crude sketches as a guideline. Now, my den is not only my office, but it is my hang-out room, where I watch TV & relax.
John also made furniture (to scale) for my guest room. Again, I could not find what I wanted on the market & I had picked up a nightstand (which I had stripped & refinished) made from birch & John built matching furniture to complete the room.
John Agan is a perfectionist & is honest to a fault. When he came in under the original estimate on my den, he refunded me $400. How many contractors would do that?
I have future projects in mind & John is the only one I would even consider to contacting to complete them.
