    I hired him to replaster a couple of ceilings and paint most of the rooms in my house, He said I didn't have to move or cover anything.
    He brought in 2 gonzo cowboys who didn't cover anyting and got plaster and paint on my stuff. They decided to eat lunch at my dining room table and pushed aside something ( instead of lifting) something that scratched the table. They left a lot of paint smudges and broke a lamp. They were told that theu didn't have to do anything in the kitchen. They seemed to interpret this as "The kitchen is your dump". I found paint-soaked rollers in with my good dinner plates and in another box with artwork. They got plaster dust in the carved surface of a Chinese chest my grandfather brought from China that I am slowly removing. He said I needed some tile replaced in a bathroom. I told him not to do it but he went ahead and ripped it out so I had to pay him to put stuff back together,

    Agui is a complete conman. Do not believe one thing this guy says. Once we gave him the first check he didn't come back once to check the horrific work his completely unqualified staff was doing. The only time we saw him is when we threatened to hold back payment and call the attorney general's office. His workers didnt even have their own tools and literally took ours from our basement along with wood and other items they needed. They never kept a schedule, left garbage everywhere and did terrible work. Do not hire.

    He essentially stole $2k as a down payment and then said he couldn’t complete the work due to health issues. He then stopped responding when we asked for return of our money. Guess we were lucky to get out when we did.

    Agui is the most dishonest person we have met. His carpenters were incompetent. We ended up firing them and hiring a professional. I hope this review will prevent reoccurrence with other potential customers.

    Complete home remodel

    This contractors name is on the permits on my house. But it is not the name he works under. Luis DeSousa was hired to do a gut renovation project for us. Long story short he walked off with $50,000 after demolishing our garage and half gutting the interior of our house. We’ve had to hire someone else to come in and finish it. This is a Ponzi scheme. Do not hire this person or anyone affiliated with him. He works under the name of the expert contractors, expert cleaning and construction services, LLC, LKS construction, and the name you see here.     Nice guy – horrible contractor

    I rarely post reviews, and when I do it’s due to good service/product. I own multiple properties and have taken on projects large and small with various contractors in different cities/states. This experience was by FAR the worst I’ve had. This was a job scheduled for completion in 4-6 weeks, instead it was “completed” in 8 months. Yes, 8 months, for two rooms roughly a total of 400-450 sq feet.

    Amongst my gripes: inexcusable delays, otherworldly disorganization, workers constantly leaving a mess and not removing trash, poor and/or lack of communication with contractor (days, sometimes weeks awaiting an answer), contractor’s lack of consolation with the customer, faulty work, used material and fixtures installed, questionable pricing for auxiliary work, rooms at times unnecessarily used as storage, a lack of listening to customer request, at times workers showing up unsure of what work they were to perform (poor communication again); all in all a dragged out process with at best mediocre end results – rather disrespectful to the property and those residing there. I’ve never experienced anything quite like it, and should’ve went with my gut and cancelled two months into the job…fool me once.

    Pros: workers and contractor were by and large friendly folks
