    Patio

    I wish, I can do 0 rating.. took forever to build patio. Job was so bad, I have filed a complaint to BBB.

    I wish I can sue them so bad that they don't even able to operate this business.

    Drive way and patio

    This was not a good experience. Everything started great. He promise the best service and was pushy to get his payments but when the final time came and he didn’t deliver what he promise he started ignoring calls and not getting back. He ended up acting very unprofessional and he didn’t deliver what he promise. He said he would come back to finalize the work but that he really needed the payment to pay his workers and never came back. Not a reputable company. I would never hire them again.

    WORST experience ever!! Wish I could give a lower rating!!! Job deadlines were not met and the job took FOREVER!! Poor quality of finished product (jagged curb cuts). Did not stake and rope off the giant hole during driveway construction and a neighbor and the child he was carrying fell in at dusk. Left a 18” drop off at my doorway for weeks. I am elderly and it was very difficult to navigate. He badgered me for additional early payments even though I had paid according to the terms of the contract. Even though I had reimbursed him for permits, his checks bounced and now he won’t return calls to either the Village or myself. I am now facing stiff fines levied by the Village if I don’t make good to them on his bounced checks. It is my opinion that you could do better elsewhere!!! Working with him was a GIANT NIGHTMARE!!!

    Residential concrete driveway installation

    If I could provide a zero star review, that would be a much more accurate representation of this company. We had our driveway done 7 months ago by this company. The price is what earned our business. They installed everything promptly, but that’s where it started to go south very quickly. To keep it brief, the lower part of our driveway developed small cracks, and shows signs of wear as if the concrete is deteriorating. The owner stated that he would come out to check this and made excuses upon excuses. Refer to “AHA construction” via google for screenshots and pictures because no family or individual deserves to get ripped off like this and left out to dry. Even if it means spending another grand, go with another company that’s reputable because you’ll end up paying for it twice to fix the mess these clowns made. Refer to their google page for pictures since I’m unable to post them here, and save your hard earned money by not coming here.

    Drive way & Front door landing

    We had some work done by AHA in August of 2016. It was a driveway and the landing outside our front door. Driveway was blacktop, and the landing is concrete (not very big) yet it needed to be replaced because of a crack. We went through the bid process, they had a comparable bid, but because they were local , they got the gig.

    Getting ahold of someone from AHA was always a challenge, I never new when AHA would show up. The completion of the slab was actually holding up the black top project. They finally came by one day, after bugging them several times. I understand my project was small, but communication was definitely lacking.

    They finally got it in, questioned a stain look - the owner said it would even out.

    My wife recently noticed, what looked like sand on the new slab, I said it couldn’t be. When I checked it out - to my surprise the concrete was spalling already. Attempted to get ahold of them, voice mailbox is full. Will send a Certified letter and I will contact the Village of Hanover Park.

    I know this will not get any better, but I believe they will ignore me, with no resolution. I will have no recourse, but to get someone else in and pay for the work again.

    I would not recommend them as a reliable or professional contractor when it comes to concrete work. They brought the concrete on the back of their truck, in plastic - from another job that had extra concrete.
    Recommend them; in a word NO!
    I will continue to make an effort to contact them, But I have a bad feeling this will bot be fixed to my satisfaction. I have contacted the BBB. One side note, I just found out their DuPage County Contractor License expired in July 2016
