  Flooring installation

  Do not use these guys! They don't really know what they are doing. They are more like general handypersons that do everything for Home Depot than experts at any one thing. Left me completely hanging with an exposed floor because they didn't notice how much product Home Depot had delivered. Also, left debris everywhere and had no timetable to get it resolved. Please do yourself a favor and find a real flooring company, not Home Depot's lackeys.

  Carpet install

  That’s a BIG NO! Will never recommend this business to any one along with Home Depot. Your company makes their business look bad also. The worst service, the first scheduled day we waited all day with a no show. Finally re scheduled the next week, took a personal day off to be there. The guys were there 4 hours and left. They said they had to go to the store and never came back to finish. Sooo again we scheduled for next week wasting another work day for them to show up to finish the job. This is a small job, one bedroom hall way and stairs. The guys are inept, poor work, the seam between hall and bedroom is frayed and not sealed down.The carpet pulls away. The other bedroom the seam between that carpet and the new carpet is way off. The new carpet goes beyond the door into the bedroom, no centered at all. So you close the door and the hall carpet is in the bedroom. The steps going down are not finished, he needs to wrap around stair on the sides. It’s six steps, but I feel that when he comes back it will be a disaster. I hope not. I give a zero rating. Worst nightmare ever for such a small job. I looked on the better business bureau, I see I’m not alone. Wish I would have checked there before purchasing from Home Depot. I’m done with them also.

  Bought bamboo flooring from home depot in Houghton lake .Mi for a living room, bedroom and hallway for an insurance repair in July 2021 AIS came and measured and with delays etc was scheduled to be installed in Nov 2021 But first HD had to get all the parts and supplies from different stores as the product had been discontinued THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE KNOWN ,well a few days before install AIS called to inform me they won't install in a lower lever actually its a walk out to the back yard and with attached garage walk out so not a true lower level its the walk in from the garage and patio The guy who measured should have known or at least the AIS should have known beforehand so I have to go through all the BS to reorder and return the bamboo to Home depot and do the follow up work with credit card and scheduling. So new install was jan 10 2022 and I drive up to Mi from Tenn on the 9th only to get a call on the 10th stating the carpet is damaged and will not install, but the women who takes care of it is Off so she will get back to you ..that's been 5 days now and no follow up. and Iam sitting here with my thumb up the rear end ,so I go to home depot and talk with mgr. and they are no help as well, and absolutely no follow up on my problem so I call just today to Home depot and the "flooring person" is off they will leave a note I've had it so I cancelled the order and called credit card co for refund Also HD just lost a 30-40 thousand dollar kitchen rebuild as I am not going through this again. Damaged product and delays are not my problem they just can't follow up as they just left me hanging twice now

  Kitchen and bathroom flooring

  If this is the same outfit that installs flooring for Home Depot their service was lousy. I couldn't communicate with them for weeks and when they finally arrived on the job they did everything they could to stop the install. Home Depot is partially to blame for the lousy measure. Needless to say, I am selling my home as is with the old laminate and a flooring allowance. I will recommend anyone but these guys.

  Lay bathroom floor

  It was a nightmare. Installers stole from us. Went thru our drawers. Destroyed things. The floor installer didn’t know what he was doing. Toilet been leaking 11 months. A lot of stuff ruined. They refuse to replace. Still broken. Would never recommend them. Wish I would of known they weren’t licensed in plumbing before he destroyed my bathroom. The management was terrible to deal with. They don’t care about their customers

  Amber was an awesome coordinator for our project. We had to reschedule numerous times due to heat/cold conditions in our entry and then because of Covid. We eventually had our carpet installed, it’s great! Thank you Ais

  1) misquoted or underquoted me buy over 1100 dollars, I had to come up with the money to get the fence installed. I had allready removed expensive shrubs to get the privacy fence installed. I had no choice but to pay.

  2) they never sent me a new contract or quote until two days after the install. Those drawings for the requote were the correct ones again DID NOT GET UNTIL TWO DAYS AFTER THE INSTALL.

  3) made me pay right away said they would be out the next daytook that day off work to make sure it was right and they did not show up.

  4) when the installers showed up three days after the first time they made me cut back on my existing bushes so they can put the fence up. Did not need to do that Because they installed the fence 1.5 foot away from my property line.

  4) I had to pick up after the fence installers.

  Sorry for the long explanation, not satisfied with the work this company did, lack of communication, misquote buy over 1100 and not sending me a contract with the drawings until two days after the work was done

  The two big issues is being forced to pay 1100 for their mistake And not installing the fence per there drawing

  Would not recommend this company For any work

  Carpet Install

  Install set up was easy, and could be done via email. Installers, called to give approximate time and also a head's up 30 minutes away from arrival. Yeni was also diligent in following up to make sure we were satisfied.

  Living/dining room, bedroom, 2 sets of stairs

  Would highly recommend Rich and Terry as carpet installers.
  They were prompt, courteous, respectful of home when moving furniture, professional,and friendly while doing an A1 job of carpet installation. We have had lots of carpet put in in our 48 yrs of home owning, and these two, and AIS, were certainly among the top!

  Amber called and help us set up the appointment for the carpet install. The two individuals (Nate and his helper) arrived on time, got quickly to work and finished the large job in record time. This was a large job with 3 different types/styles of carpet. Dining Room was one type, commercial; Living Room was another type, thick pile; and the long hallway with 2 bedrooms going off to the left and right of the hallway all look like 1 piece of carpet. At this time, my wife and I are extremely satisfied with the performance of this team.

  I am so PLEASED and Thankful for the installers: Adam & David, out of the Graying Store; who installed my laminate flooring Wednesday & Thursday, October 3rd & 4th. They were professional, and extremely charming, answering all of my questions and being careful with the bad weather we were having outdoors with their sawing. Amber at AIS was professional, securing my installation date, and workers, and then following up to see how the job was done to my satisfaction. I also spoke with Paula Jones a district manager and told her how happy I was with the installers, the company, and the whole experience. I will recommend AIS Outlet for installation of flooring and Home Depot for all products, both have been a great partnership to work with. Home Depot's Aron, who sold me products, and all of the customer service persons have been so great finding answers to all of my questions. I have a new partnership for my home needs.   Fencing

  It has been a nightmare since May 5, they have extended to doing fencing and so far we have had 3 crews out to dig the post holes, today after City inspector came (July 12) was told the holes were 32inches NOT 42Inches required by the State of Michigan! How could they not know this! Can’t get ahold of owner Mike... Richard, Cliff and Bob act like it’s not their fault! You hired the contractors! You are responsible! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, find out if Home Depot (who we went through) Lowe’s or Menards is using them and request another sub contractor!!!!!

  I was extremely happy with AIS installers Chad and crew. They were very prompt and did s thorough job of removing old carpet and pad and installing new pad and carpet. They were all very personable and I would definitely recommend them and use them again if I ever need carpet installed. Thank you

  Install carpet

  This experience was torture from the beginning. The installer continually made me feel like I was inconveniencing them for purchasing carpet and having it installed in my home. They didn’t show up when they were supposed to, brought the wrong carpeting to install and then yelled at me saying it was my fault. It is honestly unbelievable that a company operates like this. Stay away!
