Long story short I would not recommend this company and that's being kind. When we were looking for someone to replace our driveway they were not the most expensive quote we had and not the cheapest either. We went with them because the sales team was really good and answered our questions upfront. Overall, from the street, the driveway looks decent. That's where the kind words stop.
In case you don't want to read my full story, below are the negative things that happened to us when we contracted AJD concrete to replace our driveway.
• They asked for cash and gave us a discount for doing that instead of paying by check and then were pushy about it when we agreed
• They caused about $6k worth of damage to our property which I had to hound them to come back and "fix"
• They turned down my offer to dig up a part of my yard so they could get an appropriate bid in and then asked for more money the day of the project. I'd be okay if this happened, there can be surprises; like how soft the soil was, but this just seemed partially negligent.
• The crew was out in our yard yelling and cursing at each other all-day
• The crew left their garbage for us to pick up and smeared Cheeto dust around our property
• The crew dumped the concrete latent water they used to clean their tools in our grass
• They had to use a generator at one point which killed a car-sized, generator-shaped section of our grass.
• They wanted the last half of their money before the project was complete
• I had to call them several times to come back and do the work that I paid them to do
• They gave us the California Style when we asked them not to
• It took them over a month to come back and "fix" property damage, I will still have to get it fixed by a professional. Their professional showed up for an all-day project and spent 20 minutes working on it, cleared some leaves from the pathway, no idea why, then left before doing all that we asked them to do.

Here's the full story:
This was the first time we have had a driveway put in and in hindsight, there were some red flags right away. The biggest one being that they didn't know if there was concrete or just asphalt under our current sealed driveway and when I offered to dig up a patch of our yard, so they could tell, they declined the offer. Not sure why you wouldn't want to know what kind of job you were getting into. Oh right, so you could come back act surprised and charge us an extra 2k. “Who knew what was under there?” Every other contractor that gave us an estimate. In either case this was sort of accounted for in their pricing.
While the AJD Concrete crew was on our property they were extremely disrespectful. They were out in our yard yelling and cursing. Our neighbors later told us they went to visit a friend so they didn’t have to listen to them. The crew had snack breaks and just dropped their garbage in the bushes or on the lawn. There was a large half-eaten bag of Cheetos which I guess they just left for the ants right in front of our house and months later we are still finding Cheeto handprints and smears on our house and garage where they wiped their hands on our property instead of anywhere else. I think the workers were mad at their boss for not calculating the job correctly but had no problem taking it out on my family and my property. The job ran longer than they expected also. Which led them to hurry when leaving about 7pm and they dumped the water they used to clean their tools right in our lawn leaving patches of concrete grass which is ugly, killed a larger area of grass and required a hammer to clean up.
They also damaged our property. For one, they killed a large section of our grass when they parked a generator in our front lawn, not that bad. Then they broke the front of our garage floor. The workers realized they had made a mistake and tried to patch it, but the flooring was cracked straight through where we now have ants coming up into our garage. I had two other companies come out to give me an estimate to fix this and they both quoted me around $5k. I will need to get the floor replaced. When I told the AJD sales guy he was convinced he'd contractually done all he needed to repair it. There was also damage to a retaining wall that was next to the replaced driveway. They bumped it with a heavy vehicle or something which left an obvious concave turn to what was originally a circular part of the retaining wall and then they laid concrete so now we have no choice but to have a curvy retaining wall. When they were "done" the bricks were loose and falling out. I got a quote of $1k dollars to fix it, but then the AJD sent their "brick guy" to repair it after I called them several times to remind them about it. To be clear the contractor that gave us a quote said it was a full-day project. AJD’s "brick guy" was in front of our house for maybe 20 minutes at the retaining wall while another employee blew leaves off the driveway and then they left. They never spoke to us and di
