  Sewer clean out/riser repair

  At the end of March, I discovered the hard way that my sewer clean out riser has frost jacked and there was a separation in my sewer line making it so sewage would pack up into my crawl space (yuck!). The drain company that snaked my sewer line recommended I call Gabe at AK Underground and a few other companies about the repair. I called the recommended companies and the only one I felt comfortable with was AK Underground. I instantly felt comfortable with Gabe and he never gave off the vibe that all he cared about was money.
  We found a temporary fix and he recommended I wait to do the repair until the ground had thawed naturally so I didn’t have to pay $1,500 to thaw the ground. Although this recommendation meant less money for Gabe and his team, it saved me a TON of money, which was very much appreciated! To me, this speaks volumes to the type of person Gabe is and the type of company AK Underground is. After our initial discussion, Gabe checked in with me about once a week to see if I was having any issues.
  The temporary fix held strong until the beginning of May but then began to fail, I called Gabe late Saturday night to let him know it was time and by 8am Tuesday morning, he and his team were at my house with excavation equipment and new piping. All in all, the repair took a little less than four hours to complete. I was blown away with how quickly Gabe and his team were able to complete the work and how clean they left my driveway when they were done. It was evident that Gabe and his team take pride in their work.
  Unfortunately, within a week of the initial repair, my sewer line backed up into my crawl space again. I called the drain company to have my sewer line snaked and then I texted Gabe to let him know something was wrong. He called me immediately to see what was going on and talked through the issue with the drain company. At his own expense, Gabe sent a camera inspector to my house bright and early the next day. The camera inspection revealed a belly in the sewer line, that had not been identified in the first camera inspection done by the drain company, that was full of rocks and debris from the initial separation. Again, at his own expense, Gabe had a hydro jet truck at my house the morning after that to clear the debris. The belly that was identified is located partially on my property and partially within the Municipal ROW; therefore, no work can be done without approval from AWWU. Gabe had the camera footage sent to AWWU and spoke with them directly about the need to repair the belly. Over the past few months, Gabe has followed up with AWWU multiple times and continues to do so, making my life much easier. In addition, there have been a few times when I heard weird noises in the pipe in my crawl space. I called Gabe and within an hour, he was at my house to check the sewer clean out and even went into my crawl space to check the pipes. Talk about going above and beyond!!!
  There really aren’t words to properly express just how impressed I am with AK Underground. Throughout the entire process, Gabe was so kind and so easy to work with. I was (and still am) SO impressed with Gabe’s responsiveness and professionalism, and the quality of the work that was done. I wholeheartedly recommend AK Underground and would not hesitate to hire them again in the future.

  Septic system upgrade

  6/2 20. We just finished an upgrade to our sewer system using AK Underground as the contractor. I am immensely pleased with the competent, efficient, hardworking crew.   Gabe and his crew were there when he said they would be. They excavated and repaired my sewer line clean out pipe. Back filled and were done in a matter of hours. DIG DUG DONE it's not just a slogan it's how AK UNDERGROUND operates. Great job thanks Gabe

  repair an offset sewer line

  I was thoroughly satisfied with the work Gabe and crew did on my sewer line. He was professional, expedient, and personable. I was nervous about the whole process but the job was quick and well done. I hope I don't have any more issues but I won't hesitate to call AK Underground to take of the problem.
