Our experience was exactly the same as the last review. We also hired Akers Plumbing (in 2015) because of his awesome telephone interview. And unfortunately, it also went down hill after the job was started. Our experience was also that they did get the job done but were definitely not very professional, and did NOT quality check their work. Definitely be sure to get a detailed understanding of the project in writing with this contractor. We did not, and the installation was nothing like we imagined. Many unprofessional situations came up. I would NOT recommend this company.

We hired Akers Plumbing because of an awesome telephone interview. Unfortunately, it went down hill after the job was started. My experience was they got the job done but were not very professional, nor did they quality check their work. Just be sure to get a detailed understanding of the project, like what is covered and what is not. A written estimate might be wise also. I did not, so I am partly to blame. But when a professional is hired they should complete all the above. Good work starts good recommendations. So-so work brings no recommendations.
