    $6,000

    I paid $6000 for a black chain link fence with a tension wire included to keep my dogs in my yard a couple of years ago. I trusted them due to many good reviews so did not examine the tension wire when they finished the job. My dogs were able to get out under the fence and I discovered that the tension wire is not attached to the fence. Robert from Aksarben Fence refuses to come out to look at it due to being outside of the warranty period. Very disappointed in them as I thought they were a reputable company. I will be hiring another fencing company to repair my fence.

    **New Customers Must Read**

    About two months ago Aksarben Fence put a Cat Walk fence up at our house. Looked good but the crew that was sent out had issues with gates. Unfortunately reading other reviews later others had the same issues with gates with this company as well within the last few weeks. They trimmed the post to make the latch work and after a week the latch was getting caught on the wood and screws of the latch. They came out and fixed that issue but created another issue. The gate was slanted and they cut a board crooked and looked very bad. So got a hold of the owner, who’s really the only person who responds, and got them out to fix this issue again with the gate. They fixed that issue and the gate is working fine. The next week I was taking hoses in and the other gate shut behind me by wind and broke the board that the latch was on. According to them it’s not fixable because warranty doesn’t cover it but we never received anything about warranty from this company. They did come out and fix it. Which we are greatly thankful for.

    I unfortunately lost my cool with the owner because of all the issues. The owner is a respectable guy unfortunately the crew that has come to fix issues does not represent how he works.

    I still have half cut boards on my trash can area fence and the gate they fixed a few times and it doesn’t look good.

    These gates cost $300 to put in and don’t come with handles or springs to slow the closing of them. If I would of know for this amount I was getting this type of gate and a company who struggles with them I would of said no.

    We bought a fence at the old house we lived in for thousands less and had no issues. We probably should of stayed with them but we wanted something that would stand out like the cat walk. Unfortunately the only thing good about this company is the owner answering emails and phone calls to fix customer issues. His crew he unfortunately should check their work afterwards.

    The crew also tried to charge us $250 for extra hand dug post. They sent out people to remark the lines. They allow you 4 free hand dug post and $25 after that. The owner stated they don’t need to falsely claim they hand dug post but he agreed to come out and take a look after the remarking. He looked at the markings and said we will take that off there was no need to hand dig all those post. Another respectable thing the owner did and unfortunately another mistake by his crew.
