    fix sloppy work

    House was behind schedule. Moved in. Toilet was running constantly. They came and fixed. Door to garage was stuck. I thought I had locked it. I had to sand down an 8"strip at the top to get it to close. Also had to install a spring hinge so it will close automatically. The dishwasher was leaking. They came out and fixed. Front door is crooked. Gaps a bottom and top. Milton's door man came out. First he questioned why I moved to FL. Made a comment that I at least was playing good music. I pointed out that the striker plate was just filed to make it fit and that I had put in a new security dead bolt and used the striker plate that came with the new bolt. I pointed out that the door needs to be reworked at the hinges to straighten it out. HE REMOVED MY WORK. REPLACED THE PLATE WITH ANOTHER FILED DOWN ONE OF HIS AND NEVER FIXED THE GAPS.

    Home is 2 months overdue, Rear doors, countertops and kitchen sink is completely wrong, in spite of all these items being specified and identified in writing in our contract. Appears there is little to no on-site supervision of the subcontractors as all of these problems had to be discovered and reported by us on visits to the construction site after they were incorrectly completed.
