Permits
- Building permit records show that Alair Homes has worked on 190 permitted projects.
Mark installed a whole house water filtration system for my home. If I could leave negative points, I would. Here are the main issues:
1) He left industrial-sized 4-inch staples in my driveway (these came from the box the filters were in) and also did not clean up all the dry wall dust and other trash when he was done.
2) He chipped the garage floor epoxy coating in multiple spots where he was working, each about the size of my palm
3) He made an unnecessary hole in my garage wall above the water main line. He had to install an additional box to cover it up.
4) Due to making the extra hole, he left and did not come back until 2 days later to complete the job.
5) The real kicker here is that he made me pay $100 extra due to the fact that he had to go and get additional supplies for the hole he made in the wall. When I asked why I should pay when he is the one that made the mistake, he stated it was his time and labor.
Other than these issues, the water filter seemingly works fine. Don't take a gamble though with the poor customer service and price gouging.
