    Tennent improvement work
    $230,000

    Alama completely underbid my job. I was trusting and gave them almost half upfront, then they didn't start work for months due to their licenses not being current. Well that huge upfront payment (100k) must have went to other projects because they kept requesting more money and threatened to walk off the job unless I continually gave them more money. when the project was about 60% complete, they wanted 95% of the money, I knew that they had no chance of completing the work. I had to bring on a new contractor that had to redo almost every door rough opening, re plumb walls and reframe areas that were not correct. I had to personally manage the subcontractors, check and do layout, produce schedules, hold meetings, double check, and fix orders for correctness. It was a nightmare!!! After hiring another contractor to clean up the mess, and actually deliver a quality project, I spent WAY more money, time, and stress than if I would have started out with somebody else. Do yourself a HUGE favor and look somewhere else, unless you like going over budget, quality isn't an issue, don't mind bringing lawyers in to document, and have all the time in the world, then Alama might be a great fit for you.

    Such underrated company. They are young but their experience is vast. I thought there will be a problem at first but they are with me in the beginning of the process until the end. They had a meeting with me and proposed materials to be used to remodel both my kitchen and bathroom. I worked with other contractors before, but this one, a friend told me about it, such a small company I must say. Didn't really expect much, but they were able to change my mind. The service is great and the owner is very kind. The admin are very compassionate and they're very hands on when it comes to the construction process. I like this company.

    Repair and Renovation

    I admire the work of this contractor. When we hired them to renovate and repair our building they were so professional yet very approachable and attentive to us. They maintained a high standard of cleanliness and safety even with handling heavy equipment during the construction process.

    I highly recommend this company.

    They did an awesome job! What I really noticed was the quality of their people. They work together like a team, they were respectful. When I pointed out a few things or asked about something they ALWAYS were attentive to the need. We were price conscience and so were they. We had asked for a few changes. They promptly presented written change orders and the cost in writing and it was always fair. We are going to use them on our next project.
