We began this last August and broke ground in early December, 6 weeks after the promised date. Fast forward to 10 weeks ago. Edward told us that when the clean up crew came we'd have plaster scheduled and installed in a week…. So after 3 weeks or so of waiting that crew came and did a great job. However, now its been 7 weeks since then with no update other than Edward was sick and we are now looking at end of June before anything occurs. This will bring the timeline to almost 3 months since the clean up crew was here. It has rained and the pool is retaining stagnant water creating a health issue.. mosquito breeding ground and the gunite deteriorating due to it just sitting there among the elements. We have paid on time every time and are still outstanding:
Plaster, The entire pump equipment and all Electrical.
I'm not sure why we were told we had to pay even though these items were not provided/installed. Is it possible because those crews were paid they are pushing us out? We realize materials are hard to get and to offset that we advised Alamo Pools and Edward not to create and expectations since we would hold them to their word. Edward has single handedly created broken promises, created failed timeline expectations, refused to communicate with us even if to just say, “hey, the timelines been pushed up”. We are very easy going and it’s possible that he has had every intention of holding to the schedule at the mercy of the contractors they hire… but communication is key So now, we are left with paying over $70k for materials/services not rendered with absolutely no communication.
