As General Contractor Mr. Alan W. Clark’s was dismissed from our project for the following reasons:
    • Use of non-licensed day workers to handle the permitted electrical work.

    • Use of non-licensed day workers to handle the framing and structure
    • Promise to finish three bathrooms in 4-5 weeks. We are now in week nine and not one bathroom is complete.
    • Mr. Clark’s workers damaged the bathroom furnishings and fixtures. Two vanities, tub and toilet causing over $1900 in damage.
    • Mr. Clark’s workers, when demolishing the bathrooms, put over six holes (2-4” in size in the adjoining rooms) causing over $150 in damage.
    • Mr. Clark’s workers flooded the upstairs when doing plumbing work and it leaked through the 1st floor ceiling causing over an estimated $1000 in repairs.
    • The homeowner asked Mr. Clark to please cover the carpeted floors which he would not do. The carpet is fully stained and will cost over an estimated $300.00 in cleaning costs.
    • Mr. Clark did not tape his work areas closed and caused $275 in air conditioner repair costs.
    • The homeowner was told by Mr. Clark at contracting that he was licensed, he misrepresented himself.

    • Alan Clark purchased inferior hardware for the bathroom without permission (i.e.: shower doors, drains, etc.) all of which have been or are in the process of being replaced. Did not purchase a shower door for the second bathroom.
