Alaniz Mechanical Inc: A Nightmare of Incompetence, Neglect, and Total Disregard for Customers
Rating: 1/5 (If zero stars were an option, they'd earn it)
As a disabled Veteran with two bad knees and a bad back, I've endured battles, but nothing matches the horror of Alaniz Mechanical Inc and owner Joe. Assigned by American Home Shield (AHS) for our AC repair in the sweltering Fresno foothills heat, this was a saga of lies, neglect, and danger.
AC failed; tech arrived Aug 26. Needed parts, then his car overheated—twice. In 105°F, we picked him up. He fixed it temporarily but needed to return for condensate drain pipe. We drove him back; he promised Thu/Fri.
No show. Weekend tease, but Joe nixed OT. Mon passed silently. Joe ignored calls/texts. Tech promised Tue 5 PM—ghosted. Excuses: "higher priorities." Wouldn't detail unfinished work. AHS couldn't reach them; no report filed.
Sept 7: I climbed attic in pain. PVC pipe snapped, drain leaking on furnace—risking hazards, mold.
Joe's company exploits vulnerabilities, wastes time, endangers homes. AHS: Vet contractors better. Avoid Alaniz—run! This left me raging, exhausted, warning all.
