    Mr.Alavez, is a man of his word and beyond. He makes sure his workers are working to perfection. He gets the job done, we love our potters and cement job and our beautiful done fire pit, he also designed a beautifully succulent garden in the front , plus he has added extra good tips....very professional, I highly recommend him.k

    We had a wonderful experience with Jose Alavez and his company. They made the plan my wife and I had created come to life around our new home in Riverside. He does great work and does not short cut the job. He is open to suggestions if things need changes and stands by the contract he signs with you. There are no complaints with BBB and no complaints on his license. All the concrete around our home, columns, veneers, steps, irrigation, and even the landscaping / gardening his company was responsible for creating. I you need any construction / landscaping work just call him! We are very happy we did.

    My wife and I had purchased our new home last year here in Riverside and finally got around to getting our yard designed, so we began looking for contractors. Our neighbors all over our housing tract had gone with a large contractor who shall remain nameless. Needless to say, this individual began to abandon jobs around the area with other home owners after he had gotten paid most of the agreed upon payment. After the neighbors saw our yard they wanted to know who did the work and if he could fix their yards after the other guy took off.

    Jose Alavez and his crew are a good group of hardworking guys who know what they are doing as licensed contractors. We had called 3 contractors for estimates. Jose was the first estimate and we still went with his company mainly because he respected the yard design plan we had and just provided his input, not create something totally new. What is important to him is your happiness as a customer with the end product. No complaints on BBB and no marks on his license also helped our decision. This is a small family run company started by his grandfather to his father and now to him. He does not change things when the contract is agreed upon and signed without consulting with his client. His word is his bond, you don't see that much anymore. One of our neighbors, his contractor was going to buy cheaper concrete instead of what was agreed. The guy didn't know his customer knew the cement company's manager. He had a surprise when the concrete was correctly ordered to the specifications and not the cheap stuff he asked for! Like his other victims, he took money and left the job incomplete after laying just the concrete. Needless to say my wife and I are very happy with all the work by Alavez Construction. His team finished our entire yard. His gardening expert, Nelson, even helped us with all our planting when all the drip system was laid in the front and the back.

    Mr. Alavez is a professional. Hard worker. Keeps an eye on his workers. Honest and fair. Does outstanding work. Would hire him again.
