The contractor using license CL#971732 is a real con artist. Once we paid him half of the total cost for siding he became very rude and aggressive. He'd show up at our door about nine a.m. almost daily, and would refuse to come back later. He knew my husband needed care 24/7 (my husband suffered brain damage from a horrific roll-over accident in 2005). He didn't care if I was busy bathing or changing him. Mr. Murphy and his manager Mike McMillen would let themselves into our back yard and wait at the patio door. They would continue to look into the kitchen and tell me I HAD to look at some new contract. The total price for siding went from $11,000.00 to $16,000 to $21,000.00 all in a matter of 6 days. All of this began on June 15, 2012. Today is June 26, 2012 and the siding still isn't finished. He's not returning my calls and he deposited a check for $2,220.50 that he was supposed deposit once the job was complete. I realize I've been shammed. I've contacted the police and the State Contractors Board. I was able to provide them with Patrick' Murphy's driver's license number, his social number, and car plate number. Patric Murphy is unethical, and a bully. He also told me NOT to call K-Design about the original siding we had done eighteen years ago. I told him my husband used to take care of all those things, but that I was pretty sure K-design had a life time warrenty. He said all of that had changed. He said he would write/talk to K-Design and I might get back $1000.00 from them, He said if you call they'll just give you the run around and you'll end up with zero.
