His bid stated he could start Wed, 2/3. I responded to his bid on Monday 2/1 in the AM and said let's do it, predicated on him starting on Wednesday. He said he would call back that afternoon to confirm. Not hearing from him I called the next morning and he said he would get back to me and he never did. I left a message on his voice mail at 12 noon today, Tuesday, informing him we would not be using his services. My feeling is that if he can't even return phone calls as promised, twice, he can't be trusted with the contract.
