We are happy with Alfred Karman but our situation is different than many owners. I am an architect in CT myself but am not familiar enough with work that we need on our old building in Queens and met Al through a consultant and contractor and a few other references. We hired him to do drawings and get the permit but not for observation of the work, which for most clients is very important. He did a great job for bid docs and permits. I'm sure he would do well for construction as well. He's very personable too.
